In addition to that hopefully break even financially in the process. Practically non-existent sales and mixed reviews at the start of Early Access plummeted Tainted Fate into the ground. It just wasn&#8217;t a good enough game at the start. We tried to resurrect it by updating and improving the game.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"eventbbcodeparser_Header3_3s7cU\">All them updates<\/h3>\n<p>We did the\u00a0<a class=\"eventbbcodeparser_Link_29bMZ\" href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/newshub\/app\/858250\/view\/4549154898512797747\"><span data-tooltip-text=\"store.steampowered.com\">Arena Mode Update<\/span><\/a>\u00a0which brought in a new mode and online leaderboards. We added more puzzles and collectibles in the\u00a0<a class=\"eventbbcodeparser_Link_29bMZ\" href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/newshub\/app\/858250\/view\/4549154898512797651\"><span data-tooltip-text=\"store.steampowered.com\">Puzzles Galore update<\/span><\/a>. For\u00a0<a class=\"eventbbcodeparser_Link_29bMZ\" href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/newshub\/app\/858250\/view\/4549154898512797555\"><span data-tooltip-text=\"store.steampowered.com\">Halloween 2019<\/span><\/a>\u00a0we added more blood, better dismemberment, a new boss fight, new environments, shaders and levels. After that we\u00a0<a class=\"eventbbcodeparser_Link_29bMZ\" href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/newshub\/app\/858250\/view\/4549154898512797456\"><span data-tooltip-text=\"store.steampowered.com\">overhauled the audio, added a new enemy and achievements<\/span><\/a>. The final update was the\u00a0<a class=\"eventbbcodeparser_Link_29bMZ\" href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/newshub\/app\/858250\/view\/4549154898512797369\"><span data-tooltip-text=\"store.steampowered.com\">Gummy Bear Mega update<\/span><\/a>\u00a0which temporarily changed all the enemies into gummy bears as an April Fools joke.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to all these updates, we have been fixing bugs and adjusting levels since 2019. We now believe Tainted Fate is ready to leave Early Access.\u00a0<b>The price has been lowered from $14.99 to $9.99<\/b>\u00a0in hopes to get more people to buy the game.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"eventbbcodeparser_Header3_3s7cU\">Plans vs reality<\/h3>\n<p>Looking back at\u00a0<a class=\"eventbbcodeparser_Link_29bMZ\" href=\"https:\/\/steamcommunity.com\/games\/858250\/announcements\/detail\/1707310323918936711\"><span data-tooltip-text=\"steamcommunity.com\">our plans based on your feedback<\/span><\/a>\u00a0at the start of Early Access, looks like we&#8217;ve accomplished almost everything we set out to do during Early Access. Well, the AI is still pretty stupid. Let&#8217;s say that&#8217;s intentional and demons in Tainted Fate&#8217;s universe love to just run at you with complete disregard for their well-being.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"eventbbcodeparser_Header3_3s7cU\">Release<\/h3>\n<p>We&#8217;re releasing Tainted Fate out of Early Access and into your virtual demon hands this Spooktober just a week before Halloween.
